Distracted By Nature Farms (DBN) is an 80 acre demonstration project established by Diana Dally and Paul Feezel in 1999. Located in the rolling hills of Carrollton Ohio, DBN is a beautiful, primarily wooded area that has a spring-fed 2 acre lake/pond, 2 miles of wooded trails, and a 5 acre organic fruit and berry orchard project.
This website is kind of a running history of what we have done, what we hope to do and what we have learned
generally the hard way. We hope that you find our journey interesting and maybe even somewhat humorous. Two city kids moving to the country and trying to switch to a more simple, agricultural lifestyle while maintaining their city jobs and social schedules kind of sounds like the 1960s Green Acres sitcom doesnt it? We'll its not quite that bad!
